I bought a $2400 bike here last December. I paid an extra $400ish (somewhere in that ballpark, I don't remember exactly) to have them install studded tires since the bike that I bought when the entire Anchorage area was covered in ice inexplicably didn't come with studded tires already. Within 1 week the bike was exhibiting signs of a slow leak -- I had to fill it with air every time I took it for a ride. Great shop for all types of bicyclists. The staff are wonderful and really work with you on exactly what you want/need. The mechanics always squeeze me in when my bike needs work, even when they're busy--they know my bike is my transportation, and I so appreciate that. The shop also has a well-rounded selection of bikes and a broad inventory of parts and accessories, or they'll add it to their next shipment on the rare occasion they don't already have what you want. 10/10, would and do recomm...

The bike techs in the back are great and have always came through for me. Cool guys that'll help you out if you need a quick fix or random part. They always seem to be doing great work. They've helped me out of a tight spot multiple times. Minus a star for the front of the bike shop. The vibe on the store side is 100% off here. Everyone up front seems bored or seems fairly disinterested in talking about biking. Feels like the stoke is 1/10 which is way uncool. Been back here multiple times ...

First shop I’ve been to where the whole store had excellent customer service! Everyone was knowledgeable, passionate, and extremely helpful trying to find 5 bikes for our whole family. Sue helped us and she was amazing. The manager was awesome and the mechanics were phenomenal and even set up our new bike rack! Remarkable staff all around.

I had to get a new bike recently and wanted to see and it try out before I made a decision. Anyway, I'm really glad that I went to The Bicycle Shop. Derek was super helpful and knowledgeable and got me on a new Specialized SJ that was also on-sale. He also gave me a detailed rundown on all of the features and components, so I learned much more about the bike than I ever would have known otherwise. I couldn't be happier with the bike and service they provided. Thanks.
