I was in the market for a bicycle 20 years ago when living in the Thornton area. I was fat and out of shape and decided to commute to work. I went to Derby to see if they could suit me up. I believe the owner at the time set me up and I still ride this bicycle today. The reason I am taking the time to share this is because at the time of sale I was asked if I wanted thorn proof or flat free tires/tubes and I never had a flat until now. I found that remarkable. Took a bike here to get a minor repair, the service was quick so that was nice but the service guy was kind of rude. Probably won’t come back which is unfortunate because it’s close. The guy at the front of shop directing me where to go was nice though. Overall, fine experience and the bike is fixed but customer service needs some work

Brought in my old Schwinn for a tuneup. My cables were bad, brakes were squealing, the gears wouldn’t stay etc… It was a mess. They were extremely honest when I dropped off and said that the squealing might not go away because the wheels are painted. Picked up my bike this afternoon and I am soooo happy it looks beautiful and is riding beautifully. They replaced the shifter. They did a wonderful job, the brakes are no longer squealing. I can tell they are very detail oriented, they even fixed...
