This is a really good way to get around the city without either having to wait for a bus, or for the Q-Line. Certainly cheaper than taking either an Uber or a Lyft, too. Bikes seem pretty well maintained for the most part, also. The MoGo boost e-bikes are an even better option for those of us who don't want our personal e-bikes nicked while visiting the D, which can happen in ANY major city, as well as those of us who might struggle to get a regular bike onto a bike rack of a transit bus. I’ve been using MoGo for the past month to get to work downtown from my apartment in midtown. it was really convenient until yesterday when - while I’m already running late for work - I guess the station had no electricity so I couldn’t unlock a bike…I called customer service and she told me the closest station which thankfully had a Boost bike and I made it to work on time. Fine, but gave me pause on the reliability of these bikes. Then this morning, I got a bike from my usual station but wh...
Used to love MoGo. Customer service is lacking. No response to emails after 4 days and can't get through on phone this week. Renewed my access pass on 4/17/2024 and paid the $5 fee. My account still says "Pending" after 10 days and I can not use my pass. NFL Draft weekend and was planning on using MoGo to get around and enjoy the activities, but sadly those plans were forced to be changed. Buyer beware on passes purchased because they no longer seem to support the customers.... Update... on ...
For $15, I bought a 3 day pass. Took 27 rides to Michigan Central, Fisher Building, Eastern Market, Comerica Park and downtown. Mogo stations were in most of the tourist locations. Highly recommend bike share as a way to get around this flat city, even in the heat and light rain. Best way to do a murals tour is on bikes. Don't miss the Dequindre Cut and Greenway to Michigan Central. Wished there were more e-bikes, but it really wasn't necessary. Got used to the website, logging in and sear...
Great way to get around without having to worry about finding parking for your own bike. I love the convenience and the ability to grab a bike on a whim. Also, I had trouble with the key card I requested and MoGo went out of its way to troubleshoot for me and even hand-deliver a new key card to me in person!
