Ted's Bike Shop

Great shop, super helpful, fair prices and they even do custom work. Traded in an old bike toward a new one. Will definitely be back.

We hosted a couple of touring cyclists from France on a 2000+ mile journey who, as they were pulling into town, broke the front fork on their custom built tandem in half. I called every shop in a 20 mile radius, and Ted was the guy who measured, tinkered, did some research, and found a replacement part for their non-standard front fork. It worked like a charm and they were back on the road in a few days instead of a few weeks. Ted knows his stuff, loves bikes, and provides great service.

First off, Ted's Bike Shop is ran by a guy named Ted. I'm sick of this world where businesses can slap a random name on their front door and call it kosher (looking at you, "Bob's" Discount Furniture). Second off, the guy knows bikes. If you have a problem with your bike, want a new bike, whatever, Ted's got your covered. Third off, prices on parts and helmets and bells and whatnot are about as much as you'd pay online and prices on servicing your bike are about in line with any other bike ...

I’ve been hauling a bike around from house to house for the last 10-15 years, storing it in questionable basements & outdoor areas, never riding it; the tires were flat, it was speckled with rust & covered in dust.
