I Searched all over for the perfect bike. I looked at everything and just couldn't find exactly what I wanted. I was referred to JP, and was told he would take great care of me. JP along with Shea built the bike I was trying to find and built it as if it was their own. The bike is perfect and the experience was fantastic. I would recommend anyone to Lamere Cycles. I bought my LaMere 650 Mt bike several years ago at a different shop in Minneapolis and the build out was done there. The shop closed a few years after I bought the bike; however, I was able to follow the person who did the build out to a number of locations but was unable to find him this year. Be very careful getting involved with this company. My experience with JP Lamere and his sorry company could not have been any worse. As of yesterday I have been waiting over two months for a bike frame that they told me would take 3 weeks. I paid over 6k in advance, in good faith, and have zero to show for it. Finally getting around to leaving a review because I've been enjoying my bike too much. I had a 10 yr old Ridley Helium SL, with 10sp groupset, that developed a crack in the frame. Was told that location of cracks did not lend themselves well to a carbon repair. I hated to throw out the groupset so was looking for a possible frame.
