Behind Bars Bicycle Shop

I recently had my bike serviced at Behind Bars and it was an excellent experience. I called and had a quick walk-in evaluation to receive a quote and an appointment that's about a week later. For the service, my bike was at the shop for a day, and some parts were replaced; the service made a big difference in my riding experience. The communication was professional and transparent; the price feels reasonable and no upselling.

We went in on a whim and received really good information on what bike to buy but didn't get the full on sales press which made it a really relaxing and fun experience to buying a bike. They have a number of models and designs so they should have something that fits your specific needs! They worked with me on providing a quote for transitioning a bike from a tri-bike to a road bike and helpful discussion on whether it was worth it or not to modify or buy new. I have an older men's bike I no longer use that had a flat tire that I needed to have fixed. l called them and they said they may be able to fit me in and get my flat fixed while I wait. I drove there and they said they could do it for me. I was warmly greeted when I walked in by Zacc, who turned out to be the tech who would fix my flat. I am not very knowledgeable about bikes, and when I came into this shop they treated me very kindly, and they were very willing to help out without pressuring for parts/services not necessarily due yet. I will continue to bring my bike here in the future!

Absolutely incredibly nice service. I've been looking for a good shop ever since then hub closed, this is definitely the best bike shop in the Minneapolis area
