My boyfriend and I visited Iowa specifically to ride some of the rails to trails conversions. Thomas and everyone at Bike World was so kind and helpful with bike rentals, gear, and helmets, and even dropped the bikes off for us at the trailhead in Ankeny. The bikes were well maintained and the customer service was excellent. THANK YOU BIKE WORLD

Very informative and helpful employees. Really took their time to explain multiple specs of the bike and trailer I was looking into! Truly incredible customer service, went home with ease of mind, knowing I made the right purchase. Which my wife and kids enjoyed as we went straight to the park. I really appreciate everyone that was there that day, and can’t say thank you enough.

I came in today with family to purchase my first “adult” bike - I felt pretty nervous since I virtually don’t know anything about bikes. Stephan was a great help! He answered all of our questions with patience and let me test drive the bike a couple times. I left with a used Electra Townie, helmet and water bottle, all at excellent prices!

Highly recommend Bike World for any bike related needs, especially rentals. Although we rented a couple road bikes for RAGBRAI, the whole team from fitting to returning was excellent and very knowledgeable about bikes, components and fitting specifics. They saved our “bacon” half way through RAGBRAI. Thank you Skip, Kelsey and the Team.

My girlfriend and I both bought Hybrid bikes from Barr. Exceptional service from the sales team. They were super friendly and very patient with our questions. Definitely the best bike shop in Des Moines. I would recommend coming here for first time bike buyers.
