Pretty good bike shop. Ordered a bike part from here. Rates seem a little too expensive for servicing a bycicle. Has a good selection of bikes also expensive. He does do layaway.

Even if I wasn't local I'd drive from Rochester or further to shop here. Not a big shop but a great shop that won't oversell you or put you into something that's not right for you and your budget. ALSO very helpful to canal trail tourers. Please ignore the nasty reviews from conflicted or ignorant people below, you can easily figure out who didn't eat their prunes.

I bought two bikes here and was quite pleased. Russ has great quality bikes that are assembled with great care and consideration. The one year unlimited adjustments is amazing. You can't find that level of service at the big box retailers.

Russ is amazing. He helped me pick a saddle for my bike that has dramatically improved my bike touring experience. He also kept the shop open late to accommodate my schedule so I could pick my bike up after he made some adjustments. Awesome guy, excellent service.

Beware! Check prices of the items that you want before going to Bicycle Outfitters. I went there for tires and was charged $86 for the pair. I had to look up the tires on line because I had a question about them. And found out the prices on line were between $25 & $30 each for the same tire. When I called and said I believe that I was overcharged, they said that they are a small store and cannot compete with on line prices. This might be true, but marking up tires by $15 each to me is overcha...
