Bicycle Habitat

"I bet you didn't know you bought a lemon" - these were the parting words from an employee as I left this bike shop, refusing to pay $670 for what should have been a simple tune-up. In the past they've done decent repairs on my bike. This last service, ethics was thrown out the window and when I submitted feedback the response was so subpar. The whole point of the feedback was to indicate how you complete a service for what I brought in the bike for and then point out afterwards (paraphrasing), "Oh your bike is not suitable to ride anymore."

Amazing help and service in buying a road bike from a novice. They let us take the bikes out on the west side highway to get a feel for what they are like which was super helpful. They spent time teaching me how to clip in to the point where I was able to ride home. They were also just really kind and cool people to be around. The lady at the front helping me was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Other customers walked in as I was making adjustments to my bike and she was never pushy but very educational. Great experience and they had everything you could possibly need in stock

I bought a $1,000 Trek from them a few years ago (on sale) and it was a very good experience. And while I typically do all my bike maintenance myself, sometimes I don't time or the expertise or tools for some things, and that's when I go to Bicycle Habitat.
