I have dealt with Eli over the last 5 years, on numerous bike jobs. I have found him to be Straightforward, honest, and not trying to add unnecessary expense. He is a professional and deserves to be paid as such, which seems to be a problem for some reviewers.

These guys know bikes. Their expertise in this area of Montreal is unmatched. They are much more skilled and knowledgeable than many of the other bike stores around (many of which hire young, part-time students who are still learning and have high turnover). My husband went to this shop for an inspection of my Cannondale bike and was presented with a list totalling 420$. He ended up buying the needed parts himself and installing them in another shop. Ultimately, his total spending turned out to be less then half the initial quote : 195 instead of 420$. BEST bike shop experience and this is the reason why i refuse to spend my money at corporate business like M*C… Broke the frame of my vintage Trek 800 a few blocks away from this shop. I talked with Eli and he was incredibly helpful and a overall really nice dude. Less than 24hours and my bike was welded back together and in safe riding condition, and i must say it was a VERY reasonable price. I dont usually write reviews but this bike shop saved my butt. took my bike for a tuneup here after it was in storage for over a year and while i was happy with the cleaning and the tuneup, they glossed over / ignored significant problems with my bike. i told them about screeching noises in my brakes and they told me that the pads were worn but it was only a noise problem and i should only get it repaired if the noise bothered me. and they didn't warn me about the significant wear on my chain that i do not have the experience to notice myself. fast forwa...
