Absolutely fantastic experience at this bike shop. I came in for an issue with my hydraulic brake and a long-needed touch up on my gears and chain. Jason did wonders with a quick turn around and totally reasonable price for the work. Even though I came in within an hour before close, both Jason and the owner, George, were so welcoming and friendly. After the repairs were done, my bike rode in the best shape it's been since I first got it. Would highly recommend coming here for your repairs. ...

Excellent service, at a fair price. I have a cargo e-bike, and had an issue with the battery that was mishandled by another local shop. George and his team were so accommodating in giving me a quick appointment, tempering expectations as to turnaround (busy time of year) and price (expensive parts, but a very reasonable labor fee). He was communicative, knowledgeable, and really tried his best to liaise with the manufacturer on price. I’ve been to the store a few times now, and see that their...

George and the crew at Barbary are great - I've come to them for all my bike tire fixes (tubeless, new inner tubes, popped tires, you name it). They're honest, fast, and never try to upsell me on things I don't need. Highly recommend if you ever need a bike shop - amazing customer service and attentive team!

George (the owner) is an absolute gem. He really knows his stuff and took the time to fix the mess left behind by my last mechanic (Marin bikes… never again). The quality of service was top-notch—honest, skilled, and actually caring, which feels almost extinct these days. It’s refreshing to meet someone who still believes in doing things right and being a decent human while doing it. I’m truly grateful for the work he did and the way he did it. I’ll definitely be back.

this place has a ton of integrity and great service. I brought a bike in that had been sitting in storage for a few years to be fixed up with new parts, and when they finished the job they noticed a crack in the head tube which would've made it unsafe to ride. despite all the work they put in, they didn't burden me with the cost of labor and agreed to dispose of the bike for me. I'll definitely be returning when I have a working bike that needs a tune up.
