Mike's Bikes is a really big shop with a lot of stock to check out in the store. I like to do that when I'm there to get service on one of my bikes. The modern touches like text message updates helps you know what to expect, any issues uncovered and when to expect your bike to be ready. The expertise in the shop is deep. My fiancé and I were looking for endurance road bikes to get into longer bike rides. We had done our research but working with Aaron helped us find the perfect bikes. He was able to answer all of our questions, make recommendations for exactly what we were looking for, and helped us bring in bikes from other stores as they didn’t have the size/model currently at the San Francisco store. I would highly recommend Mike’s Bikes for all of your bike needs!

Twice in the past month, the bumpy bike lane along Folsom Street in SOMA due to construction caused my chain to pop off my Mission Bicycle (internal hub, so no derailleur). Both times I walked my bike over to Mike's Bikes and they fixed my chain, no questions asked and didn't even ask for payment. Great bike shop crew, super friendly.
