Different Spokes NY Bike shop - Sales, Service, Rental, Repairs

Jose is incredible!! He helped disassemble my bike for an international move and boxed it up perfectly and within one day (other bike shops requested a weeks notice)!! Please go visit this small business that care so much about their customers!

Would not recommend bringing your vintage bike here. Maybe they are good at service or repairs on more modern bikes but definitely not for older style bikes. I don’t think they knew what they were doing with my bike and wound up throwing out my old part and replacing it with a random cotter pin they must have found in the shop which doesn’t fit. Now my crank arms aren’t 180 degrees. I’ll fix it myself now. Charged me $16 plus an argument. They even damaged my crank which I didn’t notice until...

Jose is the best ever! I brought in my super73 rx and he put motorcycle gauge spokes on the rim and motor which took a lot of custom work and he was really nice, responsive and gave me a killer deal! The bike feels amazing now and I feel really safe! Thanks Different Spokes ill be coming back here for sure!

I could not recommend Different Spokes more strongly. Living in the neighborhood, this is my bike shop of preference. I've gone in several times over the years for tune ups, tire changes, etc. The service is always great (and fast) and services seem to be reasonably priced. I don't know the name of the guy that seems to own the shop, but he's very polite and helpful. 5/5 stars.
