The Bicycle Shoppe

Using this classic in a triathlon and took it directly from the garage I purchased it from to The Bike Shoppe. I was a bit intimidated since I don’t know a ton about bikes- but the gentlemen inside made me feel right at home. They helped me look at products and gave me recommendations that were realistic and within budget. Every single interaction with them was pleasant, educational, and enjoyable without being lecture-like!

Extremely rude staff having a hissy fit about something that wasnt even an issue. Insulting me before I even walk through the door as I attempt to get a replacement tube that I already called and confirmed they had. Apparently me needing to remove my own front wheel with my own hand is enough to make the miserable shopkeeper start barking at me "we had discussed clearly on the phone you would just bring the tire in" If a bike store insults you and finds a way to not help you before youre ev...

Received great service (September 2025) From the bicycle shoppe. Staff is very friendly, extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. Just came to get a new seat for my old bike and ended up buying a helmet as well as a staff are so accommodating and they have a very good selection at very good prices. I’ll be I repeat customer. Thank you.

Probably the worst bike store in Charleston. Any other bike store is better. better stock, better service, more space, better prices. you really cant go right at the Bicycle Shoppe.

Great shoppe, better people. I went to get my brakes looked at, and they helped me immediately. I would recommend this store to anyone with a bike in downtown Charleston!
